** Changed in: alsa-driver (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: None => alsa-driver

** Description changed:

- My OS: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Desktop.
+ OS: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Desktop, Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop.

  When microphone plug is inserted in pink front mic-in socket NO SOUND
  IS RECORDED by gnome-sound-recorder/Ekiga/Skype (I tried every
  combination in gnome mixer/Volume applet/Alsa mixer), loopback is
  working (I can hear my microphone on the speakers).

  When mic plug is inserted in rear mic-in (mobo back panel) I can record and
loopback.
  Audio output is OK, both when green plug is inserted in front or rear.

  My hw is: mini-ITX mobo Intel Little Falls with Atom CPU: Intel D945GCLF
                            Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC662 Analog [ALC662
Analog]
                mini-ITX cube case

  That can be considered an annoying bug using Ekiga and Skype and moving
  around microphones (like I do).
