Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-backports-modules-intrepid

Hi all,
I have a Problem! I have a clean install of Intrepid and tried to activate my
Wi-Fi! My card is "Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI
Express Adapter (rev 01)".

I installed "linux-backports-modules-intrepid" and the ath5k driver
works, but I can't see my WPA network in network-manager (My Network is
not hidden!!). I can see networks from the neighborhood (WEP networks).

I tried to install a Madwifi-Snapshot but I get the same problem.
"iwlist scan" gave also no results (only WEP networks)!

Under Hardy I had no problems with the Madwifi drivers!

greetings
Ray
