Upon doing an upgrade to 8.10 from an up-to-date 8.04 kubuntu install
using adept, kdm did not start.
This was tracked down to the Files section in xorg.conf having acquired
a reference to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb which did not exist either in the
original Hardy install or on the new Intrepid system.
This has been temporarily circumvented by commenting out the
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb line.
