No - 2.6.27 still have same issues with at least the "rt2500pci" driver.
Interface still starts up with 1MB/s. I feel things got even worse as my
router began to hand after some traffic passed. Falling back to rt2500
legacy drivers solve the problems but this driver is incompatible with
network-manager.
