I corrected what sim wrote... tested and it does work correctly (the file goes in the trash)
++++ Open file ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals in a text editor. Change the line Trash[$e]=$HOME/Desktop/Trash/ to: Trash[$e]=$HOME/.local/share/Trash/files Restart digikam and now the delete function works. ++++ Please note that this is a far featch bug. KDE follow freedesktop.org standard and gnome does not like where should the trash goes. Of course, should the digikam package for Ubuntu work? Of course. So the question is, why does it not work now? -- digikam expects trash to be in ~/Desktop/Trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292672 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
