Public bug reported:
After migrating from a stable Hardy install:
1) When system is left idle, and goes to screen saver, the display will
show the screen saver for a period of time, then the display locks up
with multicolored vertical stripes across the screen. Ctrl-alt-del
doesnt restore, a soft boot is required.
2) When in multi-desktop mode, if Firefox 3 is loaded on one desktop,
moving to that desktop from another, causes a momentary video skew with
horizontal multicolored scan lines. This is split second, but it very
noticeable.
Current Environment: Intel VGA Compatible controller, 82945G/GZ integrated
graphics controller
PCI Bridge Intel 82801G PCI Express
None of these problems existed under Hardy.
Ubuntu/Kubuntu 8.10
