Public bug reported:
Ibex, Toshiba Tecra M4 laptop.
suspend to disk and ram work!
Unfortunately when the lid opens, it resumes... leaving me with dead
batteries and spinning hard drive at wrong times.
So the resume behavior effectively makes it be messed up.
(I'll look at the bios settings a bit more, but I suspect that somebody thought
this behavior was a feature...)
Searches on the net give me almost nothing.
Sometimes if I open the laptop, I go for the power button, and interupt
it's turning on?!? which is wierd, because I should have to tell the
computer to turn on, rather than just have it turn on whenever the lid
opens, which I have very little control over... I have some control
over power switch..
