Closing the bug since xserver-xorg-input-evdev
1:2.0.99+git20080912-0ubuntu6 has hit intrepid-updates.

** Description changed:

- An updated package (xserver-xorg-input-evdev
- 1:2.0.99+git20080912~0ubuntu6) with a fix is now in intrepid-proposed
- repositories. If it works for everybody, lshal output isn't necessary
- anymore.
+ With xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1:2.0.99+git20080912-0ubuntu6 now in
+ intrepid-updates, all you need to do is update your system (just check
+ the version of xserver-xorg-input-evdev if you joypad still doesn't work
+ in Intrepid amd64, and make sure you're not using joystick-calibrator,
+ jscal or another program like that).

- Please enable intrepid-proposed in Synaptic package
- manager>Configuration>Repositories>Updates>Ubuntu Updates), update the
- xserver-xorg-input-evdev package, make sure you don't have jscalibrator
- or any other joystick calibration tool installed (if they are installed,
- chose a complete removal/purge) then report if the new evdev package
- fixes the problem on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-
- xorg-input-evdev/+bug/284951
-
- Thanks everybody for your support! I updated the descriptions in the wiki.
