Thanks Guido Vicino! I had the same problem with the Fn + arrow keys to change brightness on my M1330. I used "blacklist video" in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist as a workaround for <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/dell/+bug/226981";>bug #226981</a>. Removing "blacklist video" fixed the problems with the keys locking up, but <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/dell/+bug/226981";>bug #226981</a> returned.
