Ok ... good news... i have a fix that can be done in Thunderbird himself. Go to your email accounts, and for EACH account be sure that the move to spambox is checked, but do not check the first round checkbox, but the other named "other", even if that rule moves tot he same spam box as the first option.
If that is done the movement works again. So this is a bug for sure, but it came into my mind it could be a translation problem also, cause normally the map is called junk, but on the dutch version that map is translated to "Ongewenst". So i think that the first option tries to move the mail to the junk folder which does not exists when you use another language. At the other hand it's a big shame for the developers of thunderbird, cause the first bug-report is already dated from the 22th october LAST year, and hence it's still not fixed. So i seriously start wondering why there is a bug tracker in the first place if nobody gives a damn about the bug ? No wonder that so much people try linux and return back to windows. No matter how unsecure or unstable windows can/might be... at least that piece of software actually WORKS. And it even gets worser, cause even the windows version of thunderbird seems to have the same bug. Fellow developers... keep this tip in mind... if you can't reproduce the bug, doesn't mean it's not there ! -- Thunderbird does not move junk messages into junk folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155759 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
