Hi Teej,

I can create DVDs, play music etc and read files from DVD, but when I
try to play a film, there is no picture and the audio is very jumpy and
crashes the player.

I have tried this in VLC, MPlayer and Totem. MPlayer gives the least
jumpy audio, but it's still not great and there's again no video.

I'm pretty sure the drive worked fine with Vista, so I'm guessing it's
to do with the driver/firmware?

What other information could I provide you with to help?
