Public bug reported:

I'm not really sure what happened. I was debugging and Insight dumped
core. I don't remember exactly what was going on. I believe I had just
set a breakpoint and pressed the button to continue. The debugger hit
the breakpoint and stopped. I was getting ready to look around at some
local variables, etc. when it dumped core. I had those windows open
already (local variables, breakpoints, stack trace). I don't think I
actually did anything though.

One other odd thing is that when I try to run the program (GNU make) I
get an error dialog saying: "Cannot initialize thread debugging library:
generic error". I press OK, and I get this same dialog again. I press
OK again, and this time it doesn't come back and my program seems to
start OK. GNU make is not a multithreaded app: it doesn't link pthread
etc.

** Affects: insight (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
