Public bug reported:
This started after upgrading to 8.10. When lid of laptop is closed,
suspend is initiated. When it is opened, I sometimes get as far as the
login prompt (for a locked screen) before system becomes unresponsive.
There is no HD sound at this time or any activity from the computer.
The power light is on, as is the wifi light. The gui is frozen and will
not accept any input. Ctrl+Alt+f1, Ctrl+alt+backspace do nothing.
Expected behavior: laptop responsive, allows input of password to unlock
screen and start using it.
