Public bug reported:

hi !

My system notification tray is located in a vertical panel on le right
corner of my screen.

When i open an xfce session, the nm-applet icon doesn't appear in the
system notification tray. However is it running because network-manager
works fine and nm-applet displays a popup when i get connected...

Now if i right-click on the system notification tray, choose "move" and put it
in an horizontal panel, the nm-applet appears.
If i move the tray back to the vertical panel, the nm-applet is still visible.

Other icons appear correctly wether the tray is vertical ou horizontal.

I'm using Xubuntu on two laptops. The very same thing happens on both.

Everything was ok when i was on hardy heron. This problem appeared on
Intreprid Ibex.
