My procedure is the following: 1. plug the yellow RCA connector into tv, tv is set to Video input of connector 2. plug s-video end of cable into laptop tv-out 3. Open ATI control center 4. Set resolution to 1024x768, then apply 5. Set tv-out to clone--I do not need to apply, setting this takes affect automatically--I think this in itself is bad 6. tv screen flickers, laptop screen goes blank, sometimes with my cursor at top left hand corner
