Interesting. Here's some command line output:

-----------------
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ hcitool dev
Devices:
        hci0 00:07:61:A3:79:E1
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ hcitool con
Connections:
        > ACL 00:07:61:A0:90:65 handle 11 state 1 lm MASTER AUTH ENCRYPT
        > ACL 00:07:61:9A:3F:9D handle 12 state 1 lm MASTER

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ hid2hci -1
No devices in HCI mode found
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo hid2hci -1
[sudo] password for matt:
No devices in HCI mode found
-----------------

So hcitool sees the dongle (xx:E1) and the connections to my keyboard
(xx:65) and mouse (xx:9D). My media pad wasn't connected at the time I
ran the command.

But hid2hci doesn't see that the dongle is in HCI mode. Which I guess
would explain why it isn't switching. Does it detect HCI devices
differently than hcitool?
