Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Upgradeing from Hardy to Intrepid, skype had audio playback problems;
due to pulse audio. To fix the problem I had to uninstall pulse audio,
remove it from the services, and remove the
:/etc/X11/Xsession.d/70pulseaudio: file, so I could login. switching to
alsa completely, or fixing Pulse audio to work with skype again, would
resolve this.
