Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

File browser (Nautilus 2.22.5.1) in Ubuntu 8.04.1 desktop does not seem
to recognize a highlighted folder as my current working directory for
purpose of creating subfolders.

When I highlight a folder in file browser and then try to create a
subfolder under it (Shift-Ctrl-N), it always places the new folder back
in the home directory. I then have to use my mouse and move the newly
created directory where I want it.
