Thank you. BTW, the issue is still there in once instance, and it's not user error (entirely). But it affects ONLY one Windows system. It has to have something to do with the configuration of that Windows target. I've done an exhaustive check of the file system and share permissions on the problem target in comparison to others where paste into folder works properly. I can discern no discrepancy. The only difference between this problem system and others is that it is using a Linksys USB dongle-style network adapter. I'm using WPA2 wireless G on the network. The real problem may have existed only on this computer all along, with user error cropping up on occasion with other targets to obfuscate the issue.
I'm NOT asking that this bug be reopened. I don't have time right now to do proper testing. When I did, I'll move that Linksys wireless adapter around to other systems to see if I can duplicate the problem. If so, I'll report it. Just wanted you to know about this in case similar reports concerning such adapters crop up on your radar.
