Hi,
I'm using the latest up-to-date version of Intrepid with the 2-6-27-8 kernel.
$ uname -a
Linux unicorne 2.6.27-8-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 6 17:33:54 UTC 2008 i686
GNU/Linux
$ apt-cache policy evolution
evolution:
Installed: 2.24.1-0ubuntu2

When i tried to close evolution, it froze my system (not only the GUI) for a
minute or two.
Attached is some dmesg output from at the time
