I had my hard drive on /dev/md1 and /dev/md2 instead of the usual
/dev/sda1 type devices. It's a couple of hard drives running as RAID 1.
Each drive has 3 partitions, 10GB of data, 1 GB of swap, and 700GB of
more data with a different mount point.

I experienced the 0% disk usage problem on both the LiveCD when I was
backing up my old partition onto the big partition, and after installing
it.

I also tried dumping 500 MB of /dev/zero to a file using DD, and the
disk usage meter never went past 0%.

I don't need to provide a screenshot, both the Disk Usage meter for the
panel and Disk Usage graph within the program only displayed 0%, never
going higher than that number.

Is this problem related to me using RAID 1?
