I can confirm this with 2.6.27 Intrepid Ibex 8.10 kernel on a Asus M2N4-SLI but can offer some help.
After deciding it was USB hubs causing the problem I found this post; http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/316830 and now have working suspend/hibernate. Basically, there are a bunch of jumpers on my motherboard to control USB wake-up behavior. Setting them to +5VSB (wake from S3 and S4) instead of +5V (wake from S1) gives me working suspend without the instant wake-up problem. It was great to quickly fix a fault by opening the case and moving a few jumpers after spending hours tinkering with such-and-such.sh Not sure if this could be considered purely a hardware related problem but it surely highlights a conflict between a particular motherboard configuration and the OS's handling of it. -- Resume immediately after Suspend due to some WAKE event https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
