Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ncpfs
I am running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and has been using ncpfs (currently:
2.2.6-4ubunutu3) to mount Novell shares. It has worked well since the
release of 8.04LTS. After the last update of kernel and modules
(currently: 2.6.24.21.23) mounting of ncpfs errors out with:
mount.ncpfs: No such entry (-601) in nds login
Quite frankly, I have no idea why this happens, but the ipx and ncpfs
modules are loaded with modprobe. I am also sure that the server is
running exactly the same setup as before, so the problem has to be in
Ubuntu, not in the server.
Downgrading to ncpfs 2.2.6-3 does not help...
