I'm using the compiz fusion that comes with ubuntu, although I haven't installed compizconfig-settings-manager, which I normally do. I'm just a little confused as to how that's related to network traffic, since I never get a crash unless I'm connected wirelessly, more often with my school's vpn connection than anything else. (I'm not sure if it happens when connected with a wire, since I haven't tried this yet).
