It's not very user friendly to have no error message or message informing the user that they need libdvdcss2.
So... why is it then that when a user tries to play an mp3 file they are prompted to install the necessary lib files, but this doesn't happen when playing a DVD??? Surely for Ubuntu to 'just work' this has to change? -- libdvdcss2 not automatically installed when playing dvd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296008 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
