Scott, the bug was marked as affecting both the 8.10 Release Notes, and probably other components (busy box, initramfs, linux kernel). Only the part of the bug that affects the '8.10 Release Notes' was marked as 'Fixed'. The part that affects the linux kernel was triaged and assigned to the kernel team.
