Public bug reported:
A program I use produce svg outputs en masse (approximetely 1000). If I
go to that folder with Nautilus and have the default icon way of showing
files, my computer almost comes to a standstill. To me it seems that
nautilus tries to create a thumbnail picture of all those images, which
just puts to much pressure on the computer (appr. 2Ghz dual core
processor with 1Gb ram and 2 Gb swap). May I suggest that only the
pictures present in the wieving area are made thumbnails of.
