Issue
I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 from LiveCD "Alternate".
In a few words. Any type of action that I take using either my CD or DVD ROM (2
separate units) will freeze my system.
Computer components:
* Scheda madre: ECS EliteGroup K7VMM+
* Chipset: Via KM266 & VT8235
* Processor: 1.7GHz
* HD: Western Digital 40GB
* RAM: 2GB
Il DVD is MSI 16xDVD-Rom | 48 CDRom
Il CDROM generic CD | CDRW 48x16x48
I tried the following command: cat /etc/fstab

I would like to be able to use my peripherals :-)
