Everything seems to be going OK then all of a sudden the screen dims
and the operation just freezes up and it may stay frozen for anywhere
from 2 to 5 minutes or more. I just reinstalled Ubuntu from a CD after
a frozen screen issue that I never resolved.I quest I 'd say I run a
basic operation as nothing was added to the CD download package .I just
don't seem to know what's going on ,so please anyone Please Help or any
other suggestions.I use Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron package loaded on a
Dell.
