This still happens very regularly. Flash apps will work for a period of time, and then at some point cross a threshold, at which point they will crash & continue to crash until firefox is fully restarted. The unreliability is terrible - it's a major impediment to Ubuntu being a reliable desktop replacement (it sucks, but flash usage is a major part of any web-enabled session these days).
