Actually that looks more like it's too new (glibc keeps old symbol
versions around; even current jaunty's glibc still supports GLIBC_2.4
symbols). Ubuntu 6.06 only had glibc 2.3, so I suspect you were trying
to install a newer powermanagement-interface there. This was possible
because powermanagement-interface didn't generate proper shared library
dependencies for itself, so I'll fix that.
