Here is the first diagnose. From your xorg log i can see you're using your 
integrated intel card, but you're also having an nvidia card installed. Perhaps 
the fact that you have two chipset can make the X-server confused.
I found this interesting line in your syslog:
Nov 15 02:09:36 test-laptop gdm[7180]: WARNING: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: 
Fatal X error - Restarting :0 
witch simply means that your x-server crashed, but we already new that, didn't 
we:)

We need more information about what is causing this. Please follow the
instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Debugging in order to generate
a backtrace and attach your results to this bug.
