Hey Bryce, Thanks for looking at this bug. I've had better luck with the released version, Ibex 8.10. Although I did try it on older machine with an Athlon K7 cpu in a foxconn mobo, the released version did not install. I did a work around by downloading and using a minimal install disk. I have booted the systems below after loading the new ubuntu 8.10 onto a 4 gig Kingston traveler thumb drive. But I've not yet tried to upgrade or direct install onto the systems listed below since the 8.10 version has come out of beta.
The problem with your request is that in the instances below I had no log files or anything else, they were new hardware builds. One of the units is now a windows XP TV PVR ( and will stay that way until I find a good recording software that works with my card, I haven't found a scheduler that runs under ubuntu). The other is just a browsing, movie playing machine using Ubuntu 8.04 which has worked well since it's release. I can give you the log files from that machine. I was planning on upgrading to 8.10 on the browsing machine because I like the support for wireless cards. Although I have still found that even the 8.10 version still doesn't like usb wireless adapters. I'll give this a try with the released version and give you an email back.
