HP Compaq nx6310 (laptop) Whenever I connect a monitor to the VGA output, it will turn black for a second every few seconds. This problem is independant of the monitor I use and still happens if I regenerate the sync signals. /var/log/Xorg.0.log has the following lines added every time that happens.
