To the developers - in the mean time, are users really not able to do
anything at all to resurect previously supported bluetooth hardware?

I have recompiled kernel 2.6.27 with toshiba and toshiba_acpi drivers as
modules and no other changes. I now get the following output:

$ sudo modprobe toshiba
$ sudo modprobe toshiba_acpi
FATAL: Error inserting toshiba_acpi 
(/lib/modules/2.6.27.2toshiba/kernel/drivers/acpi/toshiba_acpi.ko): Unknown 
symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

$ sudo toshset -q
toshset: this computer is not supported


What can I do to get toshiba_acpi running myself?
