Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cruft
cruft-remover-gtk freezes while removing an old kernel image if
/boot/grub/menu.lst has been modified because it waits for user input
through terminal.
What happened exactly:
* modified /boot/grub/menu.lst by hand.
* launched gnome-control-center from a terminal.
* clicked cruft-remover.
* marked an old linux-image for removal.
* clicked cleanup.
* cruft-remover freezed after a few seconds.
* saw how the terminal was showing a list of choices about overwriting or not
menu.lst.
* couldn't answer any of the choices. Chars where being written over the
terminal when trying to do it, probably due gnome-control-center had the
standard input, not cruft-remover.
* had to kill the app.
** Affects: cruft (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
