OS ver: Ubuntu 8.10, desktop edition, final.
Created USB flash drive install using a script found here:
www.pendrivelinux.com/download/u810/u810.sh. Ran updates (using package
manager icon) but the new kernel failed to install.
I know that running Ubuntu from a USB flash drive is not the normal way
of running it, but it would be good if it updated.
