Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-2
Running FIrefox 2.0 on WinXP (SP3). Since the upgrade to 2.0.0.18 was pushed on me I am having problems with many sites. Hotmail - I cannot read emails or change folders. A box appears with LOADING... at the lower left in yellow, but nothing happens. Gmail does not load. It suggesthttp://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar/index_e.html?id=XFTs using https as an option and that works. Trying to load radar images from Environment Canada fails - eg at http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar/index_e.html?id=XFT I tried to report this problem to FIrefox from the affected system but the Firefox windows went blank and was non-responsive. Had to log out. I am not having any problems using IE 6 on the same Windows machine, or on this Ubuntu system running Firefox 3.0.0.3. Help me, please, Firefox!
