I had the same problem. (0 % progress bar) I tried the test packages that hggdh proposed, I updated Evolution without errors, but when I tried to open it, the process stoped at 16%. I Waited for 1 hour, I restarted the computer, tried again and stoped at 15%. I don't know if is something to do with my accounts, I had IMAP and POP account as well.
