simple example, requires the following packages installed:
tcl8.5
itcl-3 (this is v3.2 actually, newer than itcl3.1)
Then, just create a simple class:
shell$ tclsh8.5
%package require Itcl
3.2
% itcl::class test {
variable v
}
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
