Hello Bryce, It was a problem back then, because I wanted to preview that true type font during design using gnome-font-viewer. Nowadays gnome-font-viewer doesn't seem to be part of gnome anymore; doubleclicking a ttf font icon doesn't start an associated application and I can't find the program anymore via repositories.
No problem for me however, if the bug will be closed.
