Ok, I did some research with our system administrators. We figured it out. It's the gvfs-mount issue with "security=share" in the samba configuration of the server similar to the discussed ones in previous versions of ubuntu.
Since I upgraded from hardy to intrepid I've got the problem again. Switching to "security=user" solved it but this can't be the solution. -- Some samba shares seem to fail when attempting to mount using gvfs-mount https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299027 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
