For my point of view, yes. I expect a mouse to be referred as a mouse, for relative movements (the 'event' device is used for absolute pointing).
The problem appeared after upgrading to 8.10, I expected '/dev/input/by-id/usb-Tablet_XD-0608-U-mouse' to always point to the same old mouse, but X was crashing because of the device not existing. 2008/11/17 Scott James Remnant <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Err, does that make any practical difference? > > -- > wacom intuos 2 not recognized as mouse (udev) > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298835 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > -- wacom intuos 2 not recognized as mouse (udev) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
