The only change remaining is

-Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 7), cdbs, ghc6 (>= 6.8.2-7),
+Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 7), cdbs, ghc6 (>= 6.8.2-6),

so the Debian requirement is more strict. I don't think we need to keep
this difference from Debian.

The previous Ubuntu version also had

+    + Filter out -g from CFLAGS
+    + debian/darcs-server.dirs: Remove preceding slash

are those changes no longer required? The darcs-server package was removed,
so I can see why that is not needed, what about the CFLAGS change?
