i can confirm, driver ati 8.11 download from ATI website and driver xorg-driver-fglrx (see intrepid proposed) don't work. segfault at c ip 08053d0d sp bfa2ab90 error 6 in aticonfig[8048000+35000] fglrx: module license 'Proprietary.
