As a newbie, I hope I'm doing this correctly. I am dual booting Win98SE and Kubuntu. I've recently downloaded the Intrepid 8.1 version and I am getting intermittent problems affecting my L7AK2 flat screen monitor. It gives me crazy flashing lines similar to those already reported by Loic Martin. It also affects my monitor menu system making it inoperable. I have to physically unplug the monitor power source. I had no problems with Hardy 8.1 or previous Kubuntu versions. My monitor and system works faultlessly with Win98SE.
