Hello,
I have tried to find other threads on this, but failed. The notebook
interface on my eee901 has suddenly hid most of the categories, e.g.
Games, Office, Internet, Education etc. Favourites, Preferences and
Administration are still there, but the "main menu" icon in preferences
will not execute, so I have not idea how to resurrect the missing items.
Is there a program that i should reinstall, or a text file that i ca
edit somewhere?
Any help gratefully received!

p.s. ubuntu 8.04 fir the eee pc is excellent, a lot better than the
standard Xandros OS. However, some windows are too tall for the eee
screen, so that say "apply" or "save" are never visible. an example is
the contact edit screen in the Evolution email client.
