Binary package hint: kaffeine
I have set Settings->xine Engine Parameters->audio->driver to
"pulseaudio". When I try to play something it always says: "Can't init
Audio Driver 'pulseaudio' - trying 'auto'..." It says the same thing
when I select Settings->xine Engine Parameters.
No other programs have problems with pulseaudio. E.g., I've configured
both xine and audacious to use pulseaudio and I have no problems running
two xine instances and one audacious instance at the same time, and all
three are playing their sound just fine. But kaffeine can't use
pulseaudio even when no other program (as I'm aware of) is using it.
Since xine can use pulseaudio while kaffeine using xine can't it seems
that the bug is in kaffeine.
