Dear tetsuo__shima,
Thank you very much for your help. I managed to fix the problem fully with your
help. I am also now managing to send a reply through ubuntu firefox. This
problem was a real niusance, probably caused by microsoft since ubuntu is a more
stable system and they are trying to put stumbling blocks. I am a bit green
when it comes to linux but starting to get used to ubuntu now.

Anyway thank you.

have any problem with firefox 3.0.2. Has anything changed at all? The thing is
"I cannot reply emails by using 3.0.3" and I could with 3.0.2.

hotmail would be a solution, but I need to use it to reply to people who I have
always used hotmail with.

I use ubuntu hardy 8.04 64bit.
I just downloaded 3.0.3 from mozilla website and executing firefox from command
line, firefox is recognized in hotmail and I can reply emails. So, I guess
something is wrong in the upgrade from Ubuntu. I wrote that in ubuntuforums and
