Public bug reported:
I just installed Kubuntu 8.10 and the X cursor goes crazy from time to
time. It gets replaced by a box with some random image on there (looks
like it's grabbing the screen buffer, but it's some stretched interlaced
image). I don't think this is related to KDE as it has happened under
Xfce as well. I can't figure out when it happens, but it's usually when
switching applications, right/left clicking, etc. I'm guessing something
with cursor themes under Xorg is wrong.
If there is a way to get the default X cursor as a workaround that'd be
great. The default cursor theme is not the greatest anyway.
I tried taking a screenshot but the cursor doesn't show up.
